FINANCIAL EDUCATION FOR WOMEN
The
Receipts
Every receipt tells a story. Here are ours.
The Pillars
Unpopular opinion: everyone wants to be rich.
FEATURED RECEIPT · MONEY MINDSET
Ask them to define it - watch them go quiet.
What does "rich" actually mean?
Ask ten women in their 20s and 30s what rich means and you'll get ten different answers.
The financial world has spent decades making "rich" mean one thing - a large number followed by a lot of zeros. And in doing so it's made wealth feel like something that belongs to other people. People who started with more. People who got lucky. People who aren't you.
That framing is not only unhelpful - it's expensive. Because women who don't see themselves as "money people" don't open ISAs. Don't increase their pension contributions. Don't negotiate their salaries. Don't ask the questions they need to ask because those questions feel like they belong to someone else's life.
And the receipt for that belief - the real cost of writing yourself out of the wealth conversation - compounds quietly, year after year, until one day you look up and wonder where the gap came from.
So let's get some clarity.
FEATURED RECEIPT · PENSIONS & LONG TERM WEALTH
The receipt for not starting your pension at 22
Trust me - over the long run it costs you more than you think.
Let's keep it real.
For most of us in our 20s and 30s, pensions are an afterthought. We're focused on the here and now - the rent, the bills, the social life, the hobbies, the career, the things that actually feel real today. Retirement feels like something that happens to other people. Older people. People who have already figured everything out.
And honestly? I get it.
I started working at 16. I didn't make my first pension contribution until I was auto-enrolled at 22. Six years of working. Six years of earnings. Six years of compound growth - gone. Not because I couldn't have contributed. Because nobody explained to me why I should. And honestly, I wished I had started sooner.
That's the receipt for not knowing. And it's the reason we're having this conversation.
